In controlled tests, Sentry Outlaw Squeeze-On with 40% cyphenothrin killed and/or repelled 82% of flies after the first 24 hours when compared to non-treated horses. A permethrin-based squeeze-on controlled only 69% for the same time period. Tests also showed that 100% of the Culex mosquitoes, the particular mosquito that carries the West Nile Virus, were not biting horses treated with Outlaw Squeeze-On 11 days after application.

And in addition to repelling more pests, the recommended time between applications for Outlaw Squeeze-On is once every three weeks, versus once every two weeks for permethrin-based products.
